All I Need to Know About Filmmaking I Learned from the Toxic Avenger: The Shocking True Story of Troma Studios by Lloyd Kaufman, James Gunn and Roger Corman

A good read to see how a indie studio is set up and run. Lloyd Kaufman also wrote a book called "Make Your Own Damn Movie!: Secrets of a Renegade Director." I haven't read it but it looks very promising.
